CHAMPS is Hillsdale's children's ministry and is based on Phillipians 2:5 - "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus". CHAMPS is an acrostic for Changing Hearts, Attitudes & Minds on Purpose. That purpose is based on "Growing in Love for God and other People", Hillsdale's stated purpose.

6:30 PM-7:20 PM - Mission Friends for 3 years through Kindergarten and CiA (Children in Action) for grades 1 through 5

Christmas Caroling at The Elms
The CiA (Children in Action) group visited The Elms assisted living to sing Christmas carols for the residents and staff.
In Mission Friends, preschoolers participate in developmentally and age-appropriate learning activities and experiences that help set the beginning stage for a missional lifestyle. Preschoolers learn by doing. As they participate in activities that provide repetition, stir curiosity, create a sense of accomplishment, help develop relationships, encourage investigation, and use their senses, they learn to help others, work together, pray, give, and tell others about God's love and His Son, Jesus.
Through example, imitation, modeling, activities, stories, cultural items, prayer, patience, and love, Mission Friends learn missions attitudes and concepts and the foundations of faith.
Hillsdale Community Children's Choir
The 2010 edition of the Hillsdale Community Children's Choir, made up of 45 K through 6th graders representing several elementary and middle schools in Davie and Forsyth counties as well as Guilford county, presented the musical Arrest These Merry Gentlemen on December 5 at Hillsdale. We were pleased to host the choir for rehearsals as well as the performance. This was the Choir's third annual performance.
