Operation Christmas Child Distribution Center
SAVE YOUR GENTLY USED SHOES
Give your gently used shoes to our "Soles 4 Souls" drive in the month of February. We participated in "Soles 4 Souls" last year and will, again, help provide shoes for folks around the world who may not have the means to purchase their own pair of shoes. Include your family, friends and neighbors. No matter how many cases of shoes we collect they will be shipped, free of charge, to a Soles 4 Souls collection point.
Making A Difference (M.A.D.) Ministry
The first project undertaken by this ministry group was to create walker and wheelchair tote bags for residents at Autumn Care Nursing and Retirement facility. Other projects to benefit the community involved making blankets for Project Linus, and Davie County Rescue Squad as well as working with Davie Social Services to provide scarves, picture frames, etc. for children and teens. The most recent projects have been stocking stuffers for Dragonfly House as well as scarves for Angel Tree recipients and blankets for Dragonfly House Advocacy Center.
